It lies in the middle of the Salzburg Slate Alps. The Hundstein. At 2117 metres above the Adriatic Sea, right in the middle of the Hochkönig region and opposite the Steinernes Meer. Whether on trail shoes, a bike or touring skis. This mountain lives up to its name, because the trail is long. You can sometimes hear one or two people swearing. But the reward awaits at the top. Goulash soup, panoramic views and schnapps.
