Healthy and Safe through the Winter

The winter sun shines, the snow glitters like a thousand diamonds, you glide down the mountain on your skis or snowboard with verve, only to go right back up again for another round - for passionate winter sports enthusiasts, now is the best time to travel. To ensure that snow fans can enjoy the joys of winter light-hearted, numerous protective measures are implemented for winter sports enthusiasts:

In our hotels, cleanliness has always been the be-all and end-all.

More info about hygiene and cleanliness in the hotel can be found here: https://www.hoteleder.com/news

Disinfection dispensers are located in all rooms.

Guests have easy access to our beautiful and above all protective disinfection line "The Sense of Safety" in all rooms, corridors and on all tables.

Tables in the restaurants are disinfected daily.

There are increased cleanliness controls in the wellness areas.

At the buffets, the disinfection bottles are within reach everywhere.

Our guests are informed personally and by signs about the use of the disinfection dispensers in public areas such as at the elevator, at the buffet, in the wellness oasis etc.

In winter, we refrain from Tuesday and Saturday events in the hotel in the form of live bands and increased crowds from guests outside the hotel. In addition, the closing time is set at 1:00am by latest.

Après ski indoors is expected to be banned in the region. This will probably become the rule throughout Austria this winter. However, the huts on the Hochkönig stand out for their high quality of service. Self-service restaurants are not an issue here and to that extent no queues are to be expected.

All gondolas and chairs on the lifts are automatically disinfected. Ski operations are optimized in terms of visitor flow.

A winter sports-compatible mouth/nose protection will be issued once with every ticket purchase.

Mouth-nose protection must be worn at all times in the ski bus, in the ticket office and cable car areas, and in all means of transport such as gondolas, chairlifts, etc. until further notice.

Mouth-nose protection is not mandatory on the slopes.

All cable cars are public transport and are subject to the same regulations. Employees of the cableway companies are trained and instructed on Corona safety measures in accordance with uniform guidelines and regulations.

The ropeway companies each have a Corona officer who is responsible for planning and implementing the measures.

All means of transport such as gondolas, chairlifts, etc. are ventilated as much as possible during the ride.

All means of transport such as gondolas, chairlifts, etc. are regularly disinfected.

Disinfection facilities are available in all toilet facilities in the ski area.

Guests are informed of the current Corona safety regulations by means of signs and loudspeaker announcements in the ski area.

Events at the ski area will be reduced to a regulated level to avoid crowds.

Cancellation conditions are regulated in a very service-oriented uniform manner in the region. Up to two weeks before arrival can be canceled free of charge.

Ski Amadé ski passes are refunded in the event of a Corona-related lockdown, depending on use.

We wish our guests a sporty, exuberant, carefree, snowy, happy winter season and "stay healthy"!
