From Salzburg, take the A10 Tauernautobahn to the Bischofshofen exit. Continue towards Mühlbach, passing through Dienten am Hochkönig and Hinterthal until you reach Maria Alm. Please keep your eyes on the road. You'll have plenty of time to admire the scenery later. To avoid tolls, from the A8 between Munich and Salzburg, take the Siegsdorf exit. Continue on the national road (Bundesstraße), passing through Lofer and Saalfelden, until you reach Maria Alm.
Taking the train is like going to the cinema, and the landscape is the show. The Eder is just five kilometres away from the Saalfelden station. From there, you can take public transport. Or if you'd rather not wait, call our front desk: Tel.

For a relaxed wellness, hiking or just-because holiday, flights travel to Salzburg from all directions and all countries. Maria Alm is just a quick and convenient shuttle ride away. Salzburg Airport of course also has car rental agencies, taxis and bus connections to the main railway station. Just ask at the ticket window for the best way to get to the Eder.
